After producing the 6,000 postcard sets for John Kucko’s “Sunflowers for Ukraine” project, Think Patented purchased several postcard sets to further support this cause. We plan to use the postcards we purchased for a second cause:

“POSTCARDS FOR U.S. SOLDIERS SUPPORTING UKRAINE”

A display with the postcards is available for Think Patented’s employees to select a card and write an encouraging message to a soldier. We have been collecting snacks and sending care packages to these soldiers, now we are going to include the personally messaged postcards as well. John Kucko suggested that folks write notes and send them to Ukraine children who have been moved to other schools in neighboring countries. Send us a message – we want to know what you are doing with your postcards.

The response to the “Sunflowers for Ukraine” postcard project has been overwhelming and has now raised $60,000 and is almost sold out!  Profits from this project are going to 1) ROC MAIDAN—the fundraising arm of the Ukraine Culture Center of Rochester—those funds go right to the folks who have stayed behind in Ukraine. 2) Polish Red Cross—those funds go directly to the Polish Red Cross in their non-stop efforts to help the hundreds of thousands of refugees who have sought safety there. The Polish neighbors have done an absolutely amazing job of showing what true love is all about. Money raised will go to help them continue their support of the refugees. Funds will also go directly to people who remain in Ukraine. Like all of you, we have been horrified by what is happening to our fellow human beings.
