Dayton, OH — March 2026 — Quality, consistency, and craft continue to define the work produced at Think Patented. In the 2026 Print Excellence Awards, that commitment was reflected across a wide range of winning projects that highlight both creative execution and production expertise.
The Graphic Media Alliance (GMA) hosted the Southern Region Print Excellence Awards Reception on March 5, 2026, at River’s Edge at Newport Landing in Newport, Kentucky, where the year’s winning entries were recognized and celebrated.
Top Honors for Two Think Patented Projects
Think Patented received special honors during the event, with two projects earning additional recognition among the competition’s top entries for their exceptional quality and print execution:
The Think Patented 2025 Calendar earned Best of Category in the Calendars category.
The Noodle Vol. 15, Issue 1, 2025 received the People’s Choice Award, selected by event attendees from all the Gold winning entries.
21 Total Awards Earned
Think Patented earned a total of 21 awards in the 2026 competition, including:
- 9 Gold Awards
- 8 Silver Awards
- 4 Bronze Awards
With nine Gold Awards, Think Patented received the most Gold recognitions of any printer in the competition, further highlighting the team’s leadership in print production, finishing, and overall quality.
The annual Print Excellence Awards program recognizes outstanding achievement in print production across 36 categories and includes entries from across Ohio, Michigan, and Northern Kentucky. This year’s competition included 689 total entries, with 348 submissions from member companies and 341 student entries, making it one of the most competitive years in the program’s history.
An independent panel of experienced, out‑of‑area judges evaluated entries through a detailed multi‑day judging process, reviewing each piece for print quality, craftsmanship, finishing techniques, and overall execution.
Select entries will also advance to the national Americas Print Awards, which recognize the best print work across the United States.
