Nearly 5 million people have been displaced since the start of the Russian invasion, according to U.N. agencies. Several global nonprofits have stepped up to deliver funds and humanitarian aid in the region, including ROC MAIDAN, the fundraising arm of the Ukraine Culture Center of Rochester and the Polish Red Cross, which are providing medical supplies and first aid training, among other actions.

On Saturday, March 18, John Kucko announced a benefit/sale, “Sunflowers for Ukraine”, to help the citizens of Ukraine who have been so devastated these last few weeks.
