Dear Clients, Vendors, Employees and Friends,Wow, another year has flown by. As we have done in the past, allow us to take a moment and reflect on 2017. First and foremost, THANK YOU! Thank you to all our clients that continue to put their trust in us. It is because of you that our 130 team members come to work with a passion and a purpose. Thank you to our vendors and friends for their continued support, because without you, we would not be where we are today. Finally, thank you to all our team members for the pride you have in your work and lifting Think Patented to new heights.2017 started off with some excitement. In January we purchased TDH Marketing & Bitstorm Web. Tim Hull, the owner, and all his employees joined our teams, formalizing our technology group, Bitstorm Connect. (Check them out: bitstormconnect.com). Throughout the year, we added additional team members in our bindery, digital print, mailing, promotional, customer service and technology divisions. In addition, we also launched our Quanta division, which is focused on the Higher Education vertical. Our annual customer appreciation event had over 200 attendees and we were honored to host a number of local and state elected officials at Think Patented throughout the year.
As the year ended, we set several records. Think Patented’s digital print division experienced record setting impressions and our mailing division mailed more mail than any previous year (we keep telling you, direct mail is not dead!). In addition, our technology group doubled the number of completed projects from the previous year. We continued to work tirelessly to deliver superior color, consistency and quality for our customers. As a result of this hard work, we again passed stringent audits to maintain being only 1 of 13 Pantone Certified Printers in the world, as well as, 1 of 11 G7 Process Control Certified Printers.
As 2018 kicks off, we are excited to add new equipment. Delivering in January will be our 2nd Heidelberg VersaFire digital color press, which will increase our digital print capacity. Also installing in January will be a new Heidelberg 40″ EasyMatrix die cutter. This will greatly expand our in-house capabilities. Finally, we will begin the new year, as a HIPAA compliant provider. This was a long time in the works, but allows us to meet strict guidelines that pertain to PHI and other sensitive data.
